Bridginality is a global, student-led mental health platform for homeschooled teens (ages 14-18) aimed at combating loneliness through biweekly interactive clubs and peer-to-peer mentoring. We build community, spark creativity, and cultivate purpose while focusing on mental health advocacy and emotional intelligence.
Bridginality is exclusively for homeschooled teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 from around the world. We welcome students from all backgrounds, cultures, and educational approaches.
Bridginality is committed to being accessible to all homeschooled teens. Currently, participation in our clubs and programs is completely free of charge.
Unlike general social platforms, Bridginality is specifically designed for homeschooled teens by someone who has experienced homeschooling challenges firsthand. Our platform combines mental health support with skill-building clubs, a points system to recognize participation, and genuine leadership opportunities—all within a safe, structured environment.
To join, simply fill out our Club Placement Application form on our website. This short form helps us understand your interests, region, and language preferences so we can place you in suitable clubs where you'll thrive.
We offer 20 different clubs across four focus areas: STEM-Focused, Creative & Cultural, Civic & Intellectual, and Innovation & Life Skills. Each club is designed to help students develop specific skills while building community.
Students can join a maximum of 1 club per focus area without scheduling conflicts, meaning you can participate in up to 4 clubs total across our 4 focus areas.
Department-led clubs are special clubs that don't just participate in activities—they actually help run parts of the Bridginality platform. For example, our Journalism & Op-Ed Writing Club manages the Bridginality Blog, while our Visual Art & Illustration Club designs campaign visuals and social media content.
When clubs exceed 30 members, we split them into smaller, equally engaging sections. Each section retains its own leadership (club presidents and co-presidents) and follows the same curriculum and schedule to ensure consistency across the platform.
No prior experience is needed for most clubs! Our clubs are designed to be welcoming spaces for beginners while still offering challenges for those with more experience. Club leaders are trained to accommodate various skill levels.
Club meetings are held on weekends only. Each club meets biweekly (every other week) for 45-60 minutes. We've organized meetings into regional time blocks to accommodate different time zones:
  • AmeriSphere (The Americas): Saturday 4-8 PM UTC (12-4 PM EST)
  • AfroEuro (Africa + Europe): Saturday 12-4 PM UTC (1-5 PM WAT / 2-6 PM CET)
  • AsiaLume (Asia + Australia): Sunday 5-9 PM UTC (2-6 PM JST / AEST)
To prevent scheduling conflicts, club sessions are divided into 4 rotating time slots across two weekends (Week A and Week B). This allows students to select clubs across different focus areas without time conflicts:
  • Week A, Slot 1: Creative Clubs at 12 PM UTC
  • Week A, Slot 2: STEM Clubs at 2 PM UTC
  • Week B, Slot 3: Civic & Leadership Clubs at 12 PM UTC
  • Week B, Slot 4: Life Skills Clubs at 2 PM UTC
We understand that schedules can be unpredictable. While we encourage regular attendance to get the most out of the experience, we don't penalize occasional absences. Club leaders often share summaries or recordings (when appropriate) for those who miss sessions.
Bridginality has a three-tier leadership structure:
  1. Founder & CEO: Leads the platform's overall vision, strategy, and operations.
  2. Regional Division Leadership: Each region (AfroEuro, AmeriSphere, AsiaLume) has a President and Vice President who oversee regional recruitment and support club activities.
  3. Club Division Leadership: Each club is led by a Club President and Vice President who manage operations and facilitate meetings.
Regional Presidents and Vice Presidents are intentionally selected from different continents to reflect diverse perspectives and prevent cultural bias. These positions are open for applications yearly, and leaders are chosen based on their experience, vision, and commitment to Bridginality's values.
Absolutely! We encourage students to apply for leadership positions. Applications for Club and Regional President positions open yearly. Earning Bridge Points through active participation can help your application stand out, as it demonstrates your commitment to the community.
All leadership positions run on a 1-year contract. Leaders are expected to assist in selecting and mentoring their successors to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of our programs.
Bridge Points are our way of celebrating student involvement, collaboration, and leadership within the Bridginality community. You earn points for showing up, participating actively, and helping others.
You can earn Bridge Points by:
  • Regularly attending club meetings
  • Actively participating in discussions and activities
  • Helping other students
  • Contributing to club projects and initiatives
  • Taking on leadership roles within your club
Points are tracked automatically by club leaders.
Bridge Points offer several benefits:
  • Creative Spotlights: Get featured on our website or blog
  • Leadership Fast-Track: Stand out when applying to lead a club or region
  • Bridge Awards: Earn exclusive digital certificates, honor badges, and potentially merchandise when funded
  • Credibility Boost: Points give you visibility when applying for paid roles or submitting projects
Think of them as your unique footprint in Bridginality—a signal of how deeply you've shown up in our community.
You can view your Bridge Points on your profile dashboard on our website. We also display monthly and quarterly leaderboards showcasing top scorers in each region and club.
